Maldives Super Transfer Service (MSTS) Watersports is collaborating with the British Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation (BWSW) to launch the first tow sports instructor course in Maldives.
The course was inaugurated by head of Champa & Crown Resorts Mohamed Moosa (Ucchu) in a ceremony at Kuredu Island Resort & Spa on Wednesday.
The course is taught by experts from BWSW.
The purpose of the course is to teach the youth working in watersports in the tourism sector to safely conduct tow sports and teach tourists such sports.
MSTS’ head Maseeh Imad said the course will also help boost the confidence of the youth involved in watersports, and prove the field has a future.
10 people from the eight resorts MSTS provides services will be participating in the Five day course. MSTS they plans on conducting more courses in the future, and that it will be open to people working in the watersports field.
